You can bring America and Europe together in a way never before seen!
TUTA thrives on the novelty created by colliding cultures, genres, and time periods. This upcoming season featuring works by German playwright Bertolt Brecht will highlight the theatre company’s adeptness at blending European and American artistic traditions.
So, because we can’t help ourselves, we wondered what it would be like if Europe and America (personified) actually met up. Would they be inexplicably attracted to each other? Would Europe’s eternal smoking be a turn off to America, while America’s eating habits horrify Europe? What if in fact opposites do attract and these two fell in love? Got married? Surely it would be a passionate and rocky relationship. Check out our quick take on their meeting.
