What a way to end 2009! We thank everyone who took action during our fall Engagement fundraiser and online matching donation campaign. You collectively reached the goal of $2,000 in new donations by December 31, 2009 (over just 6 weeks) which secures us a matching grant of $2,000 from the generous Donnelley Foundation. Inhale. Exhale. Whew. Happy New Year!

We know we reminded you often about our need during the final days of 2009, but let’s face it: you did the hard work by writing the checks. And apparently a lot of you aren’t afraid of doing a little work in the name of quality entertainment. The total money raised offsets approximately 15-20% of the cost of the producing our newest show The Wedding, which opens Jan 15 (gulp)! We can’t wait to share the fruits of our -- and your! -- labors so please come by and join our (somewhat dysfunctional family) party. For one lucky person, the tickets are on us!

As promised, we put the names of all those who participated in the matching campaign Nov 16-Dec 31 into a little wedding purse and randomly drew a name. Insert drum roll here….Congratulations John Levin! You’ve won two tickets to see the Wedding on the date of your choice. So grab a date and c’mon over. You’ve earned it!
