Laurie is very happy to return to TUTA, where she first appeared in the original production of The Wedding, voted one of the top 10 shows of 2010 by Time Out Chicago. She most recently appeared in A Red Orchid Theatre’s Jeff-recommended production of The New Electric Ballroom and at TimeLine Theatre in The Front Page. Other recent credits include Cadillac with Chicago Dramatists and Tranquility Woods at Steppenwolf, where she is also currently understudying How Long Will I Cry?: Voices of Youth Violence, part of their Young Audiences series—and mandatory viewing for Chicagoans concerned about our city’s homicide rate. She has also worked with the Piven Theatre Workshop, European Repertory Company, Next Theatre, Theatre Oobleck and Fox Theatricals, among others. Film and Television work includes Stranger Than Fiction and The Express, and TNT’s Leverage.
